The Role of a Presenter
A presenter’s role is to
provide the audience additional information on a subject matter; they are there
in order for the audience to gain a full understanding to what the topic
contains. A presenter is there to inform the audience the latest news; this may
include showbiz, political news, sports and more. This is because it applies to
all the audience and in case some are only watching for a specific topic. The
presenter has to read it from the auto queue as it provides all the information
the audience needs to be aware of. However in some cases, if this was a chat
show, the news would only cover ideally celebrity news and more unimportant
issues. Furthermore, this all depends on who the show's aiming at and what they
are on in terms of the demographic scale, this is how the production team will
figure out how the show will be a success.
